成果简介	NOVELTY - The device has a set of clamps for mounting onto a drafting frame of a ring spinning machine, where the clamps are placed at either end of the device. A roving detent element (RDE) is placed between a set of rear drafting rollers (RDR) and a middle drafting roller (MDR) of the machine. An activating/deactivating element (AE/DE) activates the RDE on detection of breakage of a roving yarn (RN). The RDE moves between the RDR and the MDR to disengage the rollers such that the RN discontinues between the rear and MDRs. USE - Roving stop device for use in a ring spinning machine for spinning of fibre into yarn. ADVANTAGE - The device ensures that the breakage of the filaments does not happen between the rear drafting rollers and middle drafting roller. The device performs roving operation from the middle draft roller and the apron connected in the middle roller moves roving yarn automatically to front draft roller on resumption of the roving detent element to a position, thus reducing manual intervention with the process of production of yarn. The device increases production of the yarn is increased as the manual piecing operation is minimized, and wastage of yarn is reduced. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) a roving stop device; (2) a method for using a roving stop device in a ring spinning machine.
