成果简介	NOVELTY - The connector has a housing covering one end of a first weatherstrip (200) and a second weatherstrip (300). An intermediate wall comprises a first face and a second face and separates the housing into a first region and a second region, where the first region is connectable to a portion of the first weatherstrip and the second region is detachably coupled to the portion of the second weatherstrip. The first face of the intermediate wall includes a protrusion projecting outwards away from the first face, where the protrusion snap-fits the connector to the first weatherstrip. The second face of the intermediate wall engages the connector to the second weatherstrip using adhesive units, where the connector is made of a thermoplastic or elastomeric material e.g., plastic. USE - Connector for connecting different weatherstrips to be mounted around a frame e.g. door, window, or trunk, of a vehicle and buildings. Uses include but are not limited to agricultural and industrial vehicles, passenger cars, heavy motor vehicles and light motor vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The connector utilizes a weatherstrip used in a vehicle door being a flexible sealing component that is installed along edges of a door frame such that the weatherstrip in the vehicle door is to prevent an entry of external elements such as rain, wind, dust and noise into an interior cabin of a vehicle, so as to maintain a comfortable and quiet environment inside the vehicle by sealing any gaps or openings between a door and a vehicle body. The connector keeps water from entering the vehicle, thus preventing potential damage to electrical components and upholstery such that the weatherstrip reduces wind noise and air leakage, thus improving aerodynamics and fuel efficiency.
