| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The method involves machining a damaged hexagonal portion of a barrel/cap of a hydraulic filter to make left hand threads and localized anodizing/alchrome is done on the threads. A hexagonal nut is manufactured by using a stainless steel material with an internal left-hand thread. Three pins are manufactured with the steel material. The nut is tightened on the thread of the barrel with an ecobond adhesive. Three holes are drilled at intersection surfaces of the nut and the barrel at an equally spaced position at a diagonal location of nut. The stainless steel pins are fitted in machined three holes with the adhesive. USE - Method for retrieving damaged barrel or cap of a hydraulic filter. ADVANTAGE - The method enables avoiding rejection of barrel or cap due to damage to hexagon during periodic change of filter element.
