成果简介	NOVELTY - The device (100) has a set of projections (2) defined to project from a region of an extended portion of a base (1). A support component (3) is connectable to a portion of the base, where the support member receives and supports a spiral bush bearing (4). The support member has an opening proximal to the base to view a part of the bearing and the projections. The projections are configured to contact the bearing to determine alignment and to inspect the bearing. An arcuate portion is provided between each of the projections to contact and align rolling elements e.g. rollers, of bearing. USE - Device for inspecting a spiral bush bearing in industrial applications such as gearboxes and wind turbines, etc. Can also be used in mechanical engineering field. ADVANTAGE - The device inspects the spiral bush bearing in a cost-effective manner. The device allows a user to inspect the bearing in an efficient manner, thus reducing the number of sensors required to inspect multiple deformation parameters, and hence reducing the cost of the device. The projections contact and align the rolling elements of the bearing, thus allowing the user to determine the alignment of the bearings in an accurate manner, and inspecting the bearing without the need for additional sensors. The support unit is structured to receive and support the bearing and the projections, so that the user can view the portion of the projections in an easy manner, while inspecting the bearings, thus avoiding the need to replace the bearings on a periodic basis.
