成果简介NOVELTY - System comprises: input/output (I/O) device (1) for accepting user input of test sample data in compound identifier (CID) format; and processing unit (2) comprising network management unit (4), a processor (3) with a search function library and an instruction manual library, search unit (7), and mathematical module. The memory unit comprises data management system, random forest model (RFM) memory, solvent library, learning memory and training memory. The processor is for retrieving the simplified molecular-input line-entry system format of the test sample based on the inputted CID from online databases using the search function library and evaluating various prediction parameters for a solvent using algorithms from the instruction manual library. The search unit is for utilizing the RFM, and identifying the two most solvents for the test sample from the solvent library based on the prediction parameters evaluated by the processor. USE - The system is useful for solvent selection method in liquid chromatography (claimed) for drug discovery and development, drug analysis and purification of drug compounds, forensic labs for analysis of various samples, quality control laboratories for analyzing food samples, universities and research institutions, biochemistry, medicinal chemistry and analytical chemistry. ADVANTAGE - The system: streamlines and automates the process of solvent selection for HPLC and Reversed-phase HPLC, thus increasing efficiency and reducing human errors; incorporates machine learning techniques, specifically the random forest model and artificial neural networks, to predict the most solvent based on various parameters of a given test sample, thus enhancing the accuracy of the solvent selection process; creates a robust memory system with various types of memories serving specific functions, i.e. solvent library with a predefined database structure of all solvents used in liquid chromatography, thus enabling the system to learn and train for improved results over time; develops a network management unit that provides internet access to the processor, thus enabling the system to fetch the simplified molecular-input line-entry system format of a given CID from online databases, thus enhancing the versatility and user-friendliness of the system; and utilizes data from the training memory to refine the model and optimize the solvent selection results, thus significantly reducing the time spent on trial and error and increasing the overall effectiveness of the chromatography tests.
