成果简介	NOVELTY - Micro-emulsion formulation, comprises: 5-6 wt.% essential oil of marigold flowers; 5-6 wt.% essential oil of lemongrass leaves; 5-6 wt.% essential oil of mentha/peppermint leaves; 8-9 wt.% Tween 80(RTM: Polyoxyethylene (20) sorbitan monooleate) as a surfactant; 8-9 wt.% butanol as a co-surfactant; 8-9 wt.% glycerine to retain moisture; 2-3 wt.% carbopol 940(RTM: Crosslinked acrylic acid polymer) as a thickener; 5-6 wt.% emulsifier; 5-6 wt.% castor oil as a preservative; 2-3 wt.% phenoxyethanol as an antioxidant; 2-3 wt.% vitamin E; 2-3 wt.% lipid; 2-3 wt.% phosphate buffer having pH 7.4; and 20-30 wt.% distilled water for dilution. USE - Micro-emulsion formulation used for mosquito repellency; also having antibacterial, antifungal, antiinflammatory, and anti-malarial action, via using marigold; repellent activity against mosquitoes and house files, via using lemongrass and mentha/peppermint; reducing inflammation, redness, and sensitivity via using marigold; as natural skin bleaching, via using lemongrass; and soothing inflammation, irritation and itchiness on skin, via using mentha/ peppermint (all claimed). Test details are described but no results given. ADVANTAGE - The micro- emulsion gel formulation provides good adsorption and moisturizing effect; and is safe and efficacious, with less skin allergies.
