| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The apparatus (102) has a syringe holder unit detachably attached to a probe holder unit. A syringe holder holds a syringe and a needle, where the syringe holder enters the needle into a blood vessel based on an external input. A syringe actuator unit comprises a set of actuators and a skidder connected to the syringe holder, where the set of actuators and the skidder allow a set of movements of the syringe in the syringe holder. A sliding unit is provided with a motor connected to the set of actuators for horizontally moving the set of syringe actuators with respect to a probe. A flexible arm is provided with a first end detachably attached to a load bearing unit, and a second end detachably attached to the probe holder unit, where the flexible arm is manually moved and locked in position while cannulating the blood vessel. USE - Automated ultrasound guided apparatus for cannulation of major blood vessels e.g. arteries, and nerves and pleura for management of critically ill patients in hospitals. ADVANTAGE - The apparatus comprises an automated arm that can introduce the needle into the blood vessel under ultrasonic guidance, thus enhancing the safety of the procedure. The apparatus allows the needle to be inserted into the vessel safely. The apparatus can predict the pathway for the entry of the needle from the ultrasonic image, so that the needle and syringe can be accurately positioned in the vessel.
