USE - Ready to eat thermo-resistant soft bar used as a part of military emergency rations. ADVANTAGE - The ready to eat thermo-resistant soft bar is heat resistance for 40 minutes at 50℃, meets approximately 30%t recommended dietary allowance (RDA) for other essential vitamins and minerals of adults, and appealable color, texture and shelf life of more than 12 months at ambient temperature conditions of 15-45℃. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing ready to eat thermo-resistant soft bar, which involves preparing a binder composition comprising cane sugar and glucose in a primary double boiler system, dissolving gum arabica in boiling water to form a homogenous gelatinous paste, contacting one-third of the gum arabica-based gelatinous paste with skimmed milk powder and hydrogenated oil, and adding the mixture to binder composition to obtain a homogenous slurry, mixing cornstarch and inulin in water in a secondary double boiler system to obtain a thick paste, transferring and mixing the thick paste to the primary double boiler system comprising the homogenous slurry to obtain a homogenous mixture, adding precursor A to the homogenous mixture, subjecting the mixture to heat to evaporate excess water, contacting nuts and flavors to the mixture, cooling the mixture and pouring in molds to obtain a bar, and packaging of bars in polymeric packaging material. |
