| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Invention relates to medicine, namely to maxillofacial surgery, and is intended for use in elimination of underdevelopment of lower jaw body with occlusion of class I according to Angle’s classification, accompanied by obstructive sleep apnea syndrome. Under endotracheal anaesthesia, the mandible is fragmented in a projection of the chin. Chin portion and a base of the lower jaw are skeletonised by an incision along a transitional fold of the oral mucosa in a projection of teeth 3.4-4.4. Thereafter, the outer and inner cortical layers are cut 2.5–3 cm above the lower edge of the chin. Further, cutting is continued in a projection of the body and angles of the lower jaw in a sinusoidal manner. Thereafter, the osteotomised fragment is mesialised at 0.5–1.5 cm and fixed with a titanium miniplate and miniscrews passing through two cortical layers. Wound is closed, and a pressure bandage is applied. USE - Medicine.
