| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Design of an optical cell (100) for observation of dendrites formation in metal batteries, comprises a transparent tube (101) define two open ends and a vertical transparent tube (102) provided in between the two open ends on the transparent tube. The two current collectors (103,104) where each current collector has an electrode holder (105,106) with an electrode at one end and positioned inside the transparent tube, where both of the electrode faces each other in the transparent tube and defines a gap in between the electrodes. The gap is defined complementary with inner diameter of the vertical transparent tube. A sealing cap (109,110) provided at each end of the transparent tube, where the sealing cap defines an opening to allow passage of the current collectors, and a sealing cap (111) provided at the vertical transparent tube. USE - Design of an optical cell for observation of dendrites formation in metal batteries. ADVANTAGE - Optical cell has efficient and cost effective design and analysis of dendrite growth in context of electrochemical cells, specifically metal batteries. The optical cell design that allows real-time visualization and analysis of nucleation and growth of dendrites. The structure of optical cell to balance the ability to visualize dendrites with the mechanical strength of the tube.
