| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The cooling plate has an inlet spout configured on a top plate to receive a coolant. A flow channel is configured on the top plate, and is in fluid communication with the spout to receive the coolant to facilitate cooling of battery modules. An outlet spout is configured to fluidly communicate with the flow channel, and to discharge the cooled coolant from the plate. The top plate is provided with a lip extending beyond an operative front edge of a frame and exterior to the frame. The lip is spaced apart from the inlet and outlet spouts. USE - Cooling plate for a battery pack assembly of a vehicle. Uses include but are not limited to a hybrid vehicle, electric vehicle, plug-in hybrid electric vehicle and a hydrogen-powered vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The lip is spaced apart from the inlet spout and the outlet spout to prevent spillage of the coolant from the spouts on to the electric connectors, thus minimizing risk of short circuit hazard. The plate provides a proper draining of spilled coolant on the plate, thus avoiding stagnation of the cooling plate, and hence avoiding corrosion of the plate. The design configuration of the lip provides an ease of access to perform dismantling of coolant hoses from the plate during maintenance of the vehicle, and minimizes the risk of damage to the connectors or the battery pack. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a vehicle provided with a battery pack including a battery frame defining an operative front edge. |
