成果简介NOVELTY - The system has a power supply system (1) for charging a set of batteries, and a circuit arrangement provided with a group of switching devices (6) connected to the batteries. An electronic control system (13) controls operation of the switching devices, and regulates a switching device for electrically connecting battery to the power supply system for charging and disconnecting another battery from supply system based on a predetermined difference in a battery parameter e.g. state of charging (SOC) level, of the battery over another battery. The control system selects the battery for charging the battery based on predefined order of priority, where the order of priority determined basis of the at least one battery parameter including the SOC level, temperature, and state of health. USE - Battery charging system for an electric vehicle (EV) and can also be used for a hybrid vehicle, a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle and a hydrogen-powered vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The system ensures safe and efficient charging. Maintaining safe SOC margin between batteries during charging will further reduce power losses by eliminating high circulating current and enhance battery health.
