| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The system has a main axle rod moving in one of an upward direction based on an input. A coupler joint is attached to the rod, and rotates in a set of directions. An extender arm carries a subject e.g. patient, and is moved based on a movement of the rod and the joint. The rod and joint move the arm to hoist and transfer the subject from one place to another place based on the input. The subject is hoisted transferred from a bed to a wheelchair. An outrigger unit lifts the wheelchair for receiving the subject, and comprises a retractable leg at one side of the wheelchair. USE - Mobile hoisting system for lifting a patient from a bed to other locations without a manual intervention. Uses include but are not limited to hospitals, nursing homes, and people receiving home health care to be transferred between a bed and a chair by using hydraulic power. ADVANTAGE - The mobile hoisting system is lifted off the ground when the first retractable leg touches the ground, thus not letting wheels to be in contact with the ground. The outrigger unit is attached to a wheelchair to provide a seating space to a subject, thus allowing the subject to be transported to a shower, a restroom, a wheelchair or simply to change their current location. |
