成果简介NOVELTY - Platinum(II)-coordinated complexes comprising (N-methyl-2-(2'-pyridyl)ethylamine) platinum(II) chloride (Pt1)and its derived Pt(II) complex products are new, where Pt(II) complex product comprises pyridine derivative-based small molecules N-methyl-2-(2'-pyridyl)ethylamine (NMPA) as carrier ligand and chloride, water, DL-penicillamine, DL-methionine, sodium oxalate, and cyclobutane-1,1-dicarboxylate groups as ancillary labile groups. USE - Platinum(II)-coordinated complexes comprising (N-methyl-2-(2'-pyridyl)ethylamine) platinum(II) chloride and its derived Pt(II) complex products for regulating cancer cell proliferation activity in human lung epithelial adenocarcinoma (A549) and colorectal cancer cells (HCT116) cell. Test details are described but no results given. ADVANTAGE - The platinum(II)-coordinated complex has cytotoxic activity against cancer cell lines and significantly less toxic effects on healthy cells, and good activity towards cancer cells, and can be prepared in simple manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Platinum(II)-coordinated complexes comprising (N-methyl-2-(2'-pyridyl)ethylamine) platinum(II) chloride [Pt(NMPA)Cl2] (Pt1) with a molecular formula of C8H12N2Cl2Pt and its derived Pt(II) complex products are new, where Pt(II) complex product comprises pyridine derivative-based small molecules NMPA as carrier ligand and chloride, water, DL-penicillamine, DL-methionine, sodium oxalate, and cyclobutane-1,1-dicarboxylate groups as ancillary labile groups. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing platinum-coordinated complexes, which comprises: (i) dissolving solid potassium tetrachloroplatinate(II) in minimum volume of water and heated at 45-50℃; (ii) adding aqueous solution of liquid ligand NMPA into the platinum salt solution in warm condition maintaining at a molar ratio of 1:1; (iii) stirring overnight at room temperature followed by filtration, washing with water, methanol, and diethyl ether; and (iv) vacuum drying to obtain platinum-coordinated complexes as dry powder.
