DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparing a biodegradable scaffold, comprising preparing a mixture of poly(vinyl alcohol) and poly(ethylene glycol), contacting the mixture of poly(vinyl alcohol) and poly(ethylene glycol) with an aqueous solution comprising silk-based protein polymer and mixing the same to obtain a nanosuspension, and freeze drying the nanosuspension to obtain the biodegradable scaffold. |
