成果简介NOVELTY - Biodegradable scaffold comprises 2-10% silk-based protein polymer, 0.1-0.5 wt.%/vol.% poly(vinyl alcohol) and 5-10% poly(ethylene glycol). USE - The biodegradable scaffold is useful for wound healing or regeneration of subcutaneous tissue in a subject (claimed). Test details are described but no results given. ADVANTAGE - The biodegradable scaffold: is biodegradable, and biocompatible; has good pore structure, suitable compositions, and biomimetic structure; and enhances cellular growth and proliferation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparing a biodegradable scaffold, comprising preparing a mixture of poly(vinyl alcohol) and poly(ethylene glycol), contacting the mixture of poly(vinyl alcohol) and poly(ethylene glycol) with an aqueous solution comprising silk-based protein polymer and mixing the same to obtain a nanosuspension, and freeze drying the nanosuspension to obtain the biodegradable scaffold.
