USE - Synergistic pharmaceutical composition preferably liquid composition for treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, which are infections caused by pathogens human immunodeficiency virus (HIV-1) and herpes simplex virus (HSV-2) (claimed). No biological data given. ADVANTAGE - The pharmaceutical composition exhibits 71.85% to 100.00% of viral extenuation, 50% cytotoxic concentrations (CC50) value of 577.56 μg/ml in TZM-bl cells and 394.94 μg/ml in Vero cells, and help in overcoming the viral disease resistance and the property of latency of HSV infection.
