成果简介	NOVELTY - Slurry composition comprises 35-45 wt.% metal nanoparticle dispersion; 11-20 wt.% at least one additive; and 40 -50 wt.% pigment-extender mixture, where the metal nanoparticle dispersion comprises 0.3-2 wt.% plural metal nanoparticles in a particle size range of 1-100 nm. USE - Slurry composition or water-based paint composition for use as an antimicrobial coating (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The slurry composition is easy to synthesized and inert in nature, is stable for at least 15 days and could be easily used in a coating composition, and could be stored for use into the water-based paint composition in a larger scale. The method provides a convenient yet economical process and without the usage of any harsh reaction conditions or any processing aids for preparing the slurry composition. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: 1. a method for preparing the slurry composition which involves: (a) adding the first additive to the metal nanoparticle dispersion to obtain a first mixture; (b) charging the pigment-extender mixture to the first mixture to obtain a second mixture; and (c) contacting the second additive with the second mixture and stabilizing to obtain the slurry composition; 2. a water-based paint composition, which comprises (a) the slurry composition; and (b) at least one third additive; and 3. a method for preparing the water-based paint composition which involves contacting at least one third additive with the slurry composition to obtain the paint composition.
