成果简介	NOVELTY - A dissolution rate testing apparatus has a base (10) having mountings connected to load cells (204a), where one surface of each load cell is connected to the mounting and other surface of the mounting is connected to a flexible membrane forming a waterproof stand (205), and the waterproof stand on the other side is connected with the baseplate (202) which optionally forms a waterproof seal with the flexible membrane, a constant-temperature-water tank or outer jacket (20) containing constant temperature water, a vessel (30) comprising a main unit for introducing a testing material, a desired portion of the main unit is immersed in the constant temperature water inside the constant-temperature-water tank or outer jacket, a rotating assembly connected to roller wheel (302) through rotating rod (303) and connecting rod (302a), where roller wheel rotates on its axis exerting pressure on the testing material to keep the testing material in place while moving of the roller wheel. USE - Dissolution rate testing apparatus used for masticating chewing gum with help of continuous rotation of roller wheel into surrounding liquid medium. ADVANTAGE - The apparatus is improved and efficient apparatus for dissolution rate testing of resin or gum like materials. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A dissolution rate testing apparatus has a base (10) having mountings connected to load cells (204a), where one surface of each load cell is connected to the mounting and other surface of the mounting is connected to a flexible membrane forming a waterproof stand (205), and the waterproof stand on the other side is connected with the baseplate (202) which optionally forms a waterproof seal with the flexible membrane, a constant-temperature-water tank or outer jacket (20) containing constant temperature water, a vessel (30) comprising a main unit for introducing a testing material, a desired portion of the main unit is immersed in the constant temperature water inside the constant-temperature-water tank or outer jacket, a rotating assembly connected to roller wheel (302) through rotating rod (303) and connecting rod (302a), where the roller wheel when rotates on its horizontal axis and rotates on its vertical axis, a roller wheel rotates on its axis exerting pressure on the testing material which is placed between the roller wheel and stationary disc to keep the testing material in place while moving of the roller wheel, and optionally an administration mechanism for automatically administering a sample for conducting a dissolution test into the vessel at a predetermined timing.
