成果简介NOVELTY - Low frequency omnidirectional resonator (102) comprises a nut bolt (104) for providing a mass to the low frequency omnidirectional resonator, mounted inside the hollow tower; and a first spiral beam (106a) and a second spiral beam (106b) placed around a center of the nut bolt, opposite to one another, configured to reduce a stiffness of the low frequency omnidirectional resonator, where the first spiral beam and the second spiral beam mitigate a dynamic excitation, and a vibration occurring at the hollow tower in each direction. USE - Low frequency omnidirectional resonator for mitigating vibration in a hollow tower due to wind, waves, earthquake. ADVANTAGE - The low frequency omnidirectional resonator achieves a resonating frequency equal to an acting frequency associated with the tower through the first spiral beam and the second spiral beam and store an energy induced in the tower due to the dynamic excitation, and the vibration to mitigate the dynamic excitation, and the vibration occurring in the tower.
