| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Coating composition comprises pulverized pointed gourd (PG) seeds, dried at 60 °C, and extracted with ethanol at a concentration of 40 mg/mL, ethanol extract of pointed gourd seeds (EEPGS), prepared by soaking 3.5 g of the PG seed powder in 50mL ethanol, stirring at 400 revolutions per minute (rpm) for two days at room temperature, followed by ultrasonication for 30 minutes and filtration with Whatman(RTM: Cellulose filter paper)filter paper I. USE - Coating composition for corrosion prevention of mild steel. ADVANTAGE - None given. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method of preparing the coating composition comprises cleaning pointed gourd seeds with tap water, drying the cleaned seeds at 60°C for 8 hours, pulverizing the dried seeds into a fine powder, soaking 3.5g of the PG seed powder in 50 mL of ethanol and stirring at 400 rpm for two days at room temperature, ultrasonically treating the resulting mixture for 30 minutes, filtering the treated mixture using Whatmanfilter paper (1) to obtain the ethanol extract. |
