成果简介	NOVELTY - Oral dispersible film of Nifedipine comprises a 50-55 wt.% film forming agent such as hydroxypropyl methylcellulose E15, pullulan, Polyvinylpyrrolidone K-90(RTM: water-soluble polymer made from the monomer N-vinylpyrrolidone) or gelatin, 23-28 wt.% plasticizer such as polyethylene glycol 400, glycerol or triethyl citrate, 3-4 wt.% saliva stimulating agent such as citric acid monohydrate, tartaric acid, ascorbic acid or malic acid, 1-2 wt.% sweetener such as sucralose, aspartame or saccharin, solvent such as acetone, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, methylene dichloride or its mixture and flavoring agent such as mango, raspberry or cherry. USE - Oral dispersible film of Nifedipine used for treating hypertension and angina. No biological data given. ADVANTAGE - The oral dispersible film of Nifedipine ensures stable pharmaceutical composition, amenable for scaling up for use in industrial scale, plasticizer used for improving film flexibility and strength, saliva stimulating agent for increasing saliva stimulation to release saliva for faster disintegration and dissolution of the film, and sweetener increases the palatability of the film. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a process for preparing oral dispersible film of Nifedipine comprises: (a) mixing hydroxypropyl methylcellulose E-15 with isopropyl alcohol; (b) dissolving Nifedipine in acetone separately; (c) slowly mixing of step (b) into step (a) for 5-15 minutes; (d) dissolving citric acid monohydrate with sucralose in ethanol separately; (e) slowly mixing of step (d) into step (c) and adding polyethylene Glycol 400; (f) sonicating the solution and adding flavoring agent for 5-20 minutes; and (g) drying the solution.
