USE - Eugenol-loaded transethosomal gel for treating atopic dermatitis (AD), and various skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and acne. No biological data given. ADVANTAGE - The eugenol-loaded transethosomal gel exhibits an entrapment efficiency of 87.14 ± 1.77%, exhibits flow index (n) of 0.1466 and a consistency index (k) of 364.85, exhibits a cumulative drug release of 80-90% at 8 hours, exhibits ex-vivo skin retention capabilities of 48.17 ± 5.17% of the drug retained in the skin at 8 hours. The eugenol-loaded transethosomal gel improves the penetration of eugenol into the skin and enhance its therapeutic effectiveness, exhibits enhanced skin permeation, targeted drug delivery, and improved therapeutic outcomes against atopic dermatitis, exhibits prolonged shelf life, and is biocompatible and non-toxic, ensuring its safety for skin application, maintains stability over extended periods of storage without compromising efficacy, and is easy to apply and suitable for individuals of all ages.
