| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Cell holder (101) comprises housings (105), where each housing configured to receive a cell (120). The cell having a positive terminal (125) and a negative terminal (127) provided at a first end (122) of the cell, each housing comprises an opening (110) configured to allow portion of the positive terminal of the cell and portion of the negative terminal of the cell to be exposed. USE - Cell holder for use in an energy storage device (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The current design of the cell holder allows for each cells in the energy storage device to be arranged in parallel configuration and all the cells are in the same orientation, maximizing power efficiency drawn from the energy storage device. The cell holder may be made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or polycarbonate acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (PCABS) or other suitable materials. The design of the cell holder ensure that all the cells are oriented in the same direction, therefore all the interconnectors only need to be welded on one side of the energy storage device using such a cell holder, providing better efficiency in terms of power usage and also preventing any inadvertent short circuit from occurring.
