USE - Oak gall loaded nanoparticle laden in situ film forming spray formulation for treating recurrent aphthous stomatitis, characterized by recurring oral mucosal ulcers. No biological data given. ADVANTAGE - The oak gall loaded nanoparticle laden in situ film forming spray formulation exhibits rapid drug absorption due to high level of perfusion, is safe and effective, leads to lowering of dose and increase in safety and/or efficacy, is stable and exhibits reduced side effects compared to conventional dosage forms. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing oak gall loaded nanoparticle laden in situ film forming spray formulation, comprising: (a) dissolving ethyl cellulose, Eudragit(RTM: Polymers for sustained release) RL100 and polyethylene glycol (PEG) 400 in the eutectic mixture of camphor and menthol to obtain film forming solution; (b) adding oak gall nanoparticle in a mixture of ethanol and isopropyl alcohol; (c) adding dispersion into film forming solution of step (a); (d) filling the solution into a spray container to obtain final spray formulation.
