| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - A concrete composition having zero-water curing comprises: 10-15 wt./wt.% a cement; 55-55 wt./wt.% a ceramic tile waste aggregates; 0-45 wt./wt.% coarse aggregates; 25-30 wt./wt.% fine aggregates; and 0.05-0.1 wt./wt.% a chemical admixture. USE - Concrete composition. ADVANTAGE - Substituting natural coarse aggregates with ceramic tile waste aggregates at levels of 20%, 50%, and 100% resulted in satisfactory compressive strength, eliminating the necessity for post-casting water curing. By utilizing the water absorption properties of ceramic tile aggregates, these aggregates absorb water during mixing and gradually release it during the curing process, eliminating or significantly reducing the need for additional external water curing of concrete. Thus, saves prestigious resource water. The disposal of ceramic tile and its waste presents environmental challenges, as it contributes to landfill accumulation. By incorporating ceramic tile as a replacement for natural coarse aggregates, the composition offers a sustainable solution for waste management. It effectively utilizes the waste material, reducing its environmental impact and promoting recycling and circular economy practices. The composition enhances resource efficiency by reducing the demand for natural coarse aggregates. By replacing them with ceramic tile or tile waste aggregates, the composition contributes to the conservation of natural resources while maintaining or improving the performance of the concrete. The use of ceramic tile as a replacement for natural coarse aggregates not only enhances the mechanical properties of the concrete but also addresses environmental concerns by effectively utilizing waste materials and reducing the demand for natural resources. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method of preparation of the concrete composition having zero-water curing, which involves mixing coarse aggregates, fine aggregates and ceramic tile waste to obtain a first mixture, mixing cement to the first mixture to obtain a second mixture, adding the chemical admixture to the water to obtain a chemically-treated water, mixing the second mixture to the chemically-treated water to form a concrete composition having zero-water curing, and pouring the concrete composition having zero-water curing into molds to obtain molded block. |
