ADVANTAGE - The method for fabricating highly dispersed metal nanoparticles secured by high surface area and porous support material for the selective hydrogenation of poly saturated hydrocarbons. The platinum metal loaded hard carbon catalysts combine the mutually exclusive properties of high catalytic kinetics with high yield and selectivity as compared to commercial state of-art platinum (Pt)/carbon (C) catalysts for mono-hydrogenation reactions. |
