成果简介NOVELTY - Fabricating highly dispersed heterogeneous metal loaded nano catalysts for selective hydrogenation of polyunsaturated compounds, involves embedding the multiple of metal nanoparticles within the matrix of porous hard-carbon nanostructure support; (ii) embedding the multiple of metal nanoparticles on the external surface of porous hard-carbon nanostructure support. USE - Method for fabricating highly dispersed heterogeneous metal loaded nano catalysts for selective hydrogenation of polyunsaturated compounds. ADVANTAGE - The method for fabricating highly dispersed metal nanoparticles secured by high surface area and porous support material for the selective hydrogenation of poly saturated hydrocarbons. The platinum metal loaded hard carbon catalysts combine the mutually exclusive properties of high catalytic kinetics with high yield and selectivity as compared to commercial state of-art platinum (Pt)/carbon (C) catalysts for mono-hydrogenation reactions.
