成果简介NOVELTY - Preparing bismuth ferrite (BFO) supported with heteroatoms doped graphene nanosheets as perovskites photocatalyst involves (i) synthezing graphene oxide nanosheets (GNS) to oxidation of graphite powder by adopting modified Hammer" s method and ultrasonic treatment dispersed in water; (ii) preparing N/S/NS-doped graphene nanosheets by hydrothermal synthesis using GNS and Hexamethylenetetramine (HMT) as Nitrogen source or Benzyl Disulfide (BDS) as Sulfur source or Thiourea (TU) as Nitrogen and Sulfur source at 120-180 ℃ for 6-12 hours (h); and (iii) obtaining 0.5 milligram (mg)/milliliter (mL) N/S/NS doped graphene nanosheets, adding 0.004 mole (M) of ferric nitrate nanohydrate (Fe(NO3)3.9H2O) and 0.004 M bismuth nitrate pentahydrate (Bi(NO3)3.5H2O), 0.8 gram (gm) of Polyethylene glycol, 2 M potassium hydroxide (KOH) under stirring, at pH 14, and transferring suspension into a 100 ml of Teflon (RTM: poly (1,1,2,2 tetrafluoroethylene))-lined steel autoclave. USE - Method for preparing BFO supported with heteroatoms doped graphene nanosheets as perovskites photocatalyst. ADVANTAGE - The method has simple, cost-effective and green approach to structure controlled hetero structures consisting of hetero atom-doped graphene nanosheets supported on bismuth ferrite uses low-cost hydrothermal process for water splitting under visible light irradiation at room temperature.
