成果简介	NOVELTY - The cage has a grommet system for comprising a U-shaped lip protrusion that is fixed on an inner side of a grommet system, where the U shaped lip protrusion is configured to engage with a sipper tube of a cap of a water bottle. The U-shaped lip protrusion seals movement of air coming from outside environment into an individually ventilated cage and air going out from individually ventilated cage body. USE - Individually ventilated cage for small animals. Uses include but are not limited to mice, rats, guinea pigs, rabbits or ferrets. ADVANTAGE - The cage prevents infection or contamination between small animals kept in different individually ventilated cage of a particular individually vented cage system. The cage prevents infection and contamination of environment inside individually ventilated cage body to scientist/technician working by pathogen release by animals inside Individually vented cage and vice versa.
