| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The system has a test section (1) with two symmetrical jets of water mixed with sand/silt/slurry impinging on a specimen (2). A cavitating jet sub-assembly includes a nozzle cap (6) acting as a diffuser and a flange connected with the test section. A specimen sub-assembly includes a pressure sensor and a holder (3) that is inserted into the section with a specimen holder base. A set of slurry nozzles/jets (10) are welded to an inlet pipe. A test rig i.e. closed-loop rig, investigates cavitation erosion and silt erosion on the specimen and synergistic effect of both erosion, where polycarbonate sheets are employed for the test section's side windows and a top window (14). USE - System for accelerated synergistic wear test of cavitation and silt erosion of ductile materials and/or coatings using test rig in hydromachines and components e.g. hydroturbines, slurry pumps and valves, that operate in conjunction with liquids that contain solid particles. ADVANTAGE - The method identifies the materials that exhibit excellent performance under similar flow conditions. The method assesses the combined effect of cavitation and silt erosion, determines the primary factors that influence material damage, and helps explore more ways to control the wear rate.
