成果简介NOVELTY - Preparing ferrostatin-1 (FS-1)-loaded niosome comprises: (a) preparing organic phase by dissolving 180 mg Tween80 (RTM: Polyoxyethylene (20) sorbitan monooleate)and 14 mg cholesterol in 1 ml absolute ethyl alcohol comprising 2 mg/ml FS-1, and heating at 60℃; (b) preparing aqueous phase comprising 18.5 ml triple distilled water (TDW); and (c) slowly and uniformly injecting ~2 ml organic phase into the aqueous phase dropwise by syringe at 50℃ in a beaker under continuous magnetic stirring at 900 revolutions/minute using a magnetic stirrer, and stirring the dispersion for about 15 minutes till ethanol was evaporated, and the remaining was removed by evaporating under reduced pressure. USE - Method for preparing ferrostatin-1-loaded niosome for delivering ferrostatin-1 to targeted site for suppressing erastin-induced ferroptosis. Test details are described but no results given. ADVANTAGE - The method provides ferrostatin-1-loaded niosome with improved bioavailability and anti-ferroptotic activity, and stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for ferrostatin-1-loaded niosomal formulation, which comprises 2 mg/ml FS-1, and Tween80 (RTM: Polyoxyethylene (20) sorbitan monooleate), Span60 (RTM: Sorbitan monostearate), and cholesterol in a ratio of 1:1:0.75.
