成果简介NOVELTY - Preparing metal ion adsorbent involves drying a red gram husk, heating a red gram husk to a temperature of 100℃, rinsing red gram husk in running water, cleaning the red gram husk with distilled water, drying the red gram husk for a predetermined period, heating the dried red gram husk to a temperature of 100°C for a predetermined duration, cooling the heated red gram husk in a desiccator, grinding and crushing the cooled red gram husk, and sieving the ground and crushed red gram husk to obtain a particle size between 0.15 and 0.25 millimeters. USE - Method for preparing a metal ion adsorbent for copper (II) removal from red gram husk. ADVANTAGE - The method offers an efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective solution for copper (II) ion removal from water by utilizing red gram husk-an agricultural byproduct-as the primary adsorbent material. Through drying and heating processes, the red gram husk is transformed into a functional adsorbent with desirable physico-chemical properties and structural morphology.
