成果简介NOVELTY - The system (100) has a set of module management units (104a-n) coupled to a corresponding energy storage module (106a- n). Each module management module has a control unit (112) to receive an operational parameter associated with the energy storage modules. The control unit determines a fault or fault recovery associated with each energy module, where the control unit operates charge and discharge current limiters (108,110) based on the parameter and the recovery to manage charging or discharging of the respective energy modules. A sensor arrangement is configured to determine the operational parameter. The control unit activates charge a current limiter associated with the energy storage module with state of charge between mean value and first threshold value. USE - System for managing a battery in an energy storage system of electric vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The cell module enhances the overall capacity and discharge rate of the cell while maintaining a consistent voltage. Each parallel cell shares the load, thus reducing the risk of individual cell failure and improving overall performance. The system enables battery module paralleling while eliminating the problem of circulating currents, and significantly eliminates need for extended charging times by the battery swapping stations.
