| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The system (100) has a set of module management units (104a-104n), where each module management unit is coupled to a corresponding energy storage module (106a-106n). A control unit (112) receives an operational parameter e.g. voltage, associated with the storage module, and to determine a fault and/or fault recovery. The control unit operates a charge current limiter (108) and discharge current limiter (110) based on the operational parameter and the fault and fault recovery to manage charging or discharging of the respective energy storage modules. The charge current limiter comprises a buck converter (116) and a resistor (118). USE - Lithium-ion battery management system for an energy storage system for powering electric vehicles e.g. electric two-wheelers, electric three-wheelers, electric four-wheelers, electric pickup lorries and electric lorries, for industries and consumers. Can also be used for hybrid-vehicles. ADVANTAGE - The module management unit detects and responds to faults or fault recovery conditions within each energy storage module which provides another layer of protection, thus ensuring system stability and extending battery lifespan. The control unit isolates the affected module and adjust current flow accordingly, if the fault is detected in one module, thus preventing damage while allowing other modules to continue normal operation. The system enables battery module paralleling while eliminating the problem of circulating currents. The cell module enhances the overall capacity and discharge rate of the cell while maintaining a consistent voltage. The parallel cell shares the load, thus reducing the risk of individual cell failure and improving overall performance.
