USE - Composition of a value-added mushroom powder having antidiabetic, antiinflammatory, anticancer and antioxidant action; also antibacterial action against a class of bacteria selected from strains including Psuedomonas aureginosa(ATCC 27853), Staphylococcus aureus(MTCC 87), Bacillus subtilis(MTCC 2511) and Escherichia coli(MTCC 443); and antifungal action against the fungi selected from Candida albicans(NSCCI 5123) and Aspergillus niger(MTCC 1344) (all claimed); and also used as a protein powder and an immunobooster. ADVANTAGE - The value-added mushroom powder enables to protect liver, and improves the health-care effects such as immunity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method of preparing the value-added mushroom powder, which involves: (i) rinsing ingredients comprising multiple biological materials comprising Pleurotus sajor caju, Jackfruit seeds, Coconut spadix, Raggi, Cocoapowder and Cardamom; (ii) shade drying the ingredients upon rinsing, under controlled conditions until the moisture content from the mixture is reduced; (iii) pulverizing the ingredients upon shade drying into a fine powder using a mechanical pulverizer; and (iv) mixing the pulverized materials to obtain the composition.
