成果简介NOVELTY - Shape-memory polyurethane (SMPU)composites (SMPU- titanium carbide (Ti3C2) two-dimensional (2D) materials composed of transition metal carbides, carbonitride, and nitrides (MXene), comprises 0.25-2.0 wt.% titanium aluminum carbide MXene phase material as filler, 98-99.75 wt.% polyol -diisocyanate based polyurethane. USE - Shape-memory polyurethane (SMPU)-Ti3C2MXene composite. ADVANTAGE - The SMPU-Ti3C2MXene composites has improved thermal, electrical, shape switching, and tribological properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparing SMPU-Ti3C2MXene composite, which involves (i) washing pristine shape-memory polyurethane pallets followed by drying in a hot air oven for 3-5 hours(h) at a temperature of 80-100°C, inserting the 98-99.75 wt. % SMPU pallets as obtained in step (i) with 0.25-2 wt. % Ti3C2MXene phase material into the micro compounder at 190-210℃, where the rotation speed of 60-100 revolution per minute (rpm) and mixing for 15-30 minutes(min), (iii) collecting the blend as obtained from step (ii) into the injection cylinder having a temperature in the range of 205-210℃, (iv) injecting the mixture as obtained in step (iii) in the dye by applying a pressure of 600-700 bar for 5-10 seconds(s) and post pressure of 400-500 bar for 10- 15 s at 40-50 °C to get the desired shape and size of the composites.
