DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing Vermi-Fo organic biofertilizer, comprising: (a) collecting food wastes approximately 3 kg in biodegradable bags; (b) preparing Vermi-Fo compositing unit with barrel of 15-20 l capacity, where the base of barrel is medium sized brick and stone of 10-15 cm, layering it with find sand, which further followed up by 6 inches of coarse sand; (c) layering step (b) with nylon net allowing the natural filtration and allows other substances to be sieved and separated; (d) providing all the physical conditions including pH meter, a Reotemp heavy duty compost thermometer; (e) dividing the food waste in several types and sorting the trash by combining organic material and blending it to increase and speed up digestion process; (f) collecting and mixing 1 kg of earthworms and spreading the layer of earthworms into step (e) by partially decomposing cow dung upto 20-25 cm in it; (g) sprinkling and moisturizing the mixture with water approximately with 2 lit of water on daily basis; (h) finally forming 6-7 l of product from 3 kg of total organic waste. |
