| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The total air temperature probe (1) has a direct current (DC) heater provided with size of 40mm length and 6mm diameter that works on 28 voltage DC power supply with power consumption of 35 watts with 2 wire configuration. A temperature sensor has size of 45mm length and 4mm diameter, and comprises a platinum wire of 500 ohms with 3 wire configuration. Positive fixing of the temperature sensor and the DC heater are performed using metric-M2 screws in an aerofoil structure, which provides outside temperature for an aircraft. USE - Total air temperature probe for measuring outside temperature of an aircraft. ADVANTAGE - The probe structure is designed with aerofoil shape to withstand severe vibration levels and air load during aircraft manoeuvre. The probe provides air flow separation from the leading edge and avoids any damage due to direct hit of air mass on temperature sensor tip. The structure helps to separate the dust/water particles and to prevent ice accumulation on the tip of temperature sensor.
