成果简介NOVELTY - Invention refers to medicine, namely to pulmonology, and can be used for prediction of exacerbations in bronchial asthma (BA) of mild and moderate severity. Patient’s whole venous blood is collected, lymphocytes are recovered on density gradient by centrifugation. Subpopulations of CD4+ and CD8+ are recovered from the total population of lymphocytes, and percentage ratio of cells in subpopulations is determined by 5 levels of energy state, as shown in figure 1: 1 – cells with very high mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) (MMP-1), 2 – cells with high MMP (MMP-2), 3 – cells with average MMP (MMP-3), 4 – cells with reduced MMP (MMP-4), 5 – cells with low MMP (MMP-5), further, a risk coefficient (Cr) of the onset of BA exacerbations is calculated in standard units (s.u.) by formula. At value of Cr≥100 s.u., low risk of asthma exacerbations is predicted; at value Cr<100 s.u., high risk of exacerbations is predicted. USE - Medicine.
