| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Albumin-coated nanoparticle comprises bovine serum albumin (BSA) 200 mg for 100 ml aqueous media, and Myrica esculenta (M.E.) extract, where the ratio of Myrica esculenta extract and BSA is 1:10. The nanoparticles exhibit mean particle size of 150-200 nm. USE - Albumin-coated nanoparticle for targeted drug delivery of anticancer drug for treating cancer, and inhibiting cancer cell growth. ADVANTAGE - The albumin-coated nanoparticle ensures enhanced drug efficacy, reduced side effects against HCT116 cancer cell lines, while exhibiting no cytotoxicity towards normal cells, and improved anti-proliferative activity against HCT-116 cancer cell lines. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing nanoparticle, which comprises: (a) collecting Myrica esculenta plant's bark and drying; (b) converting the bark of step (a) into coarse particle form; (c) extracting the coarse particle with methanol; (d) drying the methanolic extract of step (c); (e) dissolving the dried extract of step (d) in methanol.; (f) adding methanol solution of step (e) to water containing BSA in a ratio of 1:10 in a dropwise manner while heating and stirring at 700 revolutions/minute for 4 hours to obtain spherical nanoparticles; and (g) centrifuging at 1200 revolutions/minute for 10minutes at 4℃ to the solution of step (f), and lyophilizing for further use. |
