| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Production of exfoliated graphite involves: (a) soaking natural graphite flake in liquid nitrogen for a time period of 1 5 minutes to 100 hours to obtain soaked graphite flake, (b) treating the soaked graphite flake with intercalating reagents to obtain intercalant mixture, and (c) exfoliating the intercalant mixture at a temperature in a range of 500-1500°C to obtain exfoliated graphite. USE - Method for the production of exfoliated graphite. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to form high quality defect free exfoliated graphite with better properties such as ultra-low density, increased pore volume and high Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) surface area. The method consumes lesser thermal energy to exfoliate. |
