| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The system has an original tracking system configured to focus articulated hand motion. A degree-off random hand is tracked at 10Hz by extracting point and line features from grayscale images. A finger is tracked across a planar region using low-cost web cameras in order to manipulate a traditional graphical interface without a mouse or keyboard. A fingertip detection is accomplished by fitting a conic to rounded features, and local tracking of the tip is performed using Kalman filtering. The skin regions are segmented from background pixels in order to track two hands for interaction on a two-dimensional (2D) tabletop display in infrared cameras. USE - Hand gesture recognition system for identifying specific human gestures in sign language recognition and human computer interaction. ADVANTAGE - The system provides natural, innovative and modern way of nonverbal communication, and provides wide area of application in human computer interaction and sign language. The system reduces external interface, and provides high portability and less time consuming. |
