成果简介	NOVELTY - The system has a main unit for using natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning algorithms to understand user requests and provide responses in a conversational manner. Current systems comprise limitations in terms of functionality and personalization. An existing virtual personal assistant (VPA) unit determines degree of personalization when often lack the ability to learn and adapt to individual user preferences and habits. The VPA heavily depends on internet connectivity to function effectively. A proposed VPA system provides users with recommendations for more affordable alternatives to high-end items and alert users to sales and discounts. USE - System for providing virtual assistant (VPA) e.g. mobile application or digital assistant, Google(RTM: Company Name) Assistant or Alexa. Uses include but are not limited to IT helpdesk, home automation, HR related tasks, voice-based search, etc. ADVANTAGE - The system utilizes a virtual personal assistant (VPA) that has potential for attracting new customers, and improves retention, and increases minutes of use, and creates new revenue streams, and allows a carrier to differentiate themselves through value-added enhanced service offerings that attract new customers and improve retention, and increases revenue streams in an effective manner. The VPA is designed in such a way that when the user falls asleep or moves away from the screen for a certain period, and automatically pauses the video for the user by the program.
