USE - Real-estate price predication using machine learning. ADVANTAGE - In the real world there is an infinite dimension (not just two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D)). For example image data, genetic data, medical data etc. has a high size and support vector machines (SVM) is useful for that. Basically if the number of elements / columns is high, SVM performs well; where the conditions of both classes can be easily separated by a straight line or indirectly. To illustrate class divisions, let's take an example (here we take an example of line divisions, classes are also non-linear divisions, by drawing a parabola eg, etc.). In the first graph you cannot easily say that X will be in 1st or 2nd class, but incase 2 you can easily see that X is in 2nd grade. So in the second case the classes are divided along the line. Outliers have a small impact. SVM is extremely suitable for classification. |
