成果简介NOVELTY - The system has a network of fire detectors and alarm panels that are connected to a central control unit, that is powered by solar panels. The solar panels collect energy from the sun and store the energy in batteries to power the system during periods of low sunlight or at night. The fire detectors trigger the alarm panels, that send a signal to the central unit. The central unit activates the system and alerts occupants of a building to evacuate. A buzzer starts giving sound as the fire is detected and the circuit is completed by action of bimetallic strip when bringing a matchstick near a fire switch with a time lag of 510 seconds. A buzzer continues to give sound for some time due to action of capacitor and time required by switch to return to room temperature when removing the burning matchstick away from the switch. USE - Solar energy using automatic emergency fire alarm system for identifying smoke and fire in various areas. Uses include but are not limited to buildings, corporate offices, schools, shopping malls and disaster-prone areas. ADVANTAGE - The fire alarm sounders can be set to certain frequencies and different tones depending on the country and manufacturer of the device. The system is cost-effective, eco-friendly, reliable, low maintenance and scalability.
