| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The smart home system comprises a hardware and software. The hardware includes Wi-Fi, Arduino microcontroller, relay board and loads. The software includes Proteus integrated development environment (IDE) and Arduino IDE. Arduino Uno is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328P, and has 14 digital input/output pins, 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz ceramic resonator (CSTCE16M0V53-R0), a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header (In-Circuit Serial Programming) and a reset button. ESP8266 is Wi-Fi enabled system on chip (SoC) module developed by Espressif system. A relay is an electrically operated switch, and consists of a set of input terminals for a single or multiple control signals, and a set of operating contact terminals. USE - Smart home system for controlling and monitoring electrical appliances, such as light, power plug, Fan, computer, security system and etc. using laptop and computer with the help of internet connection. Uses include but are not limited to home, university and industrial controlling electrical appliances. ADVANTAGE - The home automation can be made efficient by including security factor by alerting user about an unknown person in the house. The user can use smart phones or tablets to control or monitor the home appliances both locally and remotely. The people can manage the home appliance freely and build an autonomous environment in home or work area. The wireless solution based on internet protocol to manage the smart home units easily. The system reduces human efforts and power efficiency. The main objective of our project is used to help specially challenged people and old age people to control electrical appliances and security purpose. IOT is very useful for these people in crucial situations. The home automation is made efficient by including security factor by alerting user about an unknown person in the house. The system is fully automatic, low cost, user friendly, does not require RF Signal, and is used for specially challenged people and old age people to control electrical appliances and security purpose DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a block diagram of a smart home system. |
