成果简介NOVELTY - The device uses the sound of various pitches and tactile vibrations being used to encode the information comes out to be esoteric for blind persons. A useful and convenient design is developed since the visually impaired people facing several problems with the existing modules. A smart shoe with several features provides VIPs with a means for safe, independent mobility and continuous contact with their families or care givers. The system relies on sensors to detect object sat some distance in front of the blind person and alert the blind person by speaker. The sensor such as micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) and passive infrared (PIR) sensor is provided to monitor the person when the person falls down. The location of user is tracked and sent as message to the relatives. A wireless module setup is provided in the places used by the person in order to indicate the person is reached the specified place. USE - Electronic travel aid (ETA) device such as smart cane and blind shoe for detecting obstacles in path of visually impaired person using Internet of Things (IoT). ADVANTAGE - The device is highly efficient in mobility navigation and is affordable in cost as well. The user independently navigates just using the voice commands provided by the device. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a block diagram of an ETA device.
