| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The paper has a main unit for examining how rural-urban migration affects agricultural production at an origin of migration, where the main unit net effect of different migration strategies is accounted on agricultural production. The main unit uses sample data of two hundred households from fifteen villages from the Ghana Living Standards Survey 5 (GLSS 5) to examine socioeconomic characteristics of households which comprise no migrants those with temporary migrants and households with permanent migrants. The main unit uses Cobb Douglas production function and two stage least squares regression model to establish the relationship between agricultural production and migration. USE - Agricultural production and rural-urban migration effecting paper. ADVANTAGE - The paper tightens labor constraint for agricultural production and the earnings in the form of remittances by loss of labor through migration from migrants which may loosen credit constraints and help with investments in agricultural production. |
