| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The method involves deploying a distributed sensor network and sensors across a large geographical area, collecting real-time data on various environmental parameters e.g. air quality, temperature, humidity, water quality, and noise levels and providing up-to-date information about the environment to detect and respond to changes promptly. An extensive coverage is provided for environmental monitoring. The different ecosystems, urban areas, remote locations, and challenging environments which are difficult to access are monitored. The environment captures data from diverse areas. The sensors collect data consistently and accurately. The collected data is transmitted securely and in real-time to a centralized database (DB) or cloud platform for analysis. USE - Method for implementing distributed sensor network for environmental monitoring using internet of things (IoT) technology. ADVANTAGE - The method ensures the reliability of the data, reduces cost, errors and inconsistencies which occur with manual data collection methods, ensures that researchers and policymakers can rely on accurate data to make informed decisions and develop effective environmental strategies, provides scalable distribution network easily, real-time monitoring of various environmental parameters e.g. temperature, humidity, air quality, and soil moisture and valuable insights on environmental conditions, leverages existing communication infrastructure and cloud platforms, optimizes the costs associated with data transmission, storage, and analysis, analyzes data collected from the distributed sensor network to gain valuable insights into environmental patterns, trends, and anomalies, applies advanced analytics techniques e.g. machine learning (ML) and data mining to identify correlations, predict environmental changes and provide early warning systems for potential hazards, enables efficient and effective monitoring and management of environmental conditions in a range of settings and sustainable management of natural resources and improves accuracy, real-time monitoring, and remote access and management and environmental outcomes.
