成果简介NOVELTY - The system has a mobile robot platform provided with an attached light detection and ranging (LiDAR) sensor that allows for flexible and efficient data collection, and reducing the need for manual labor and minimizing disruptions to ongoing construction activities. A robot is guided through the space to be measured, and the LiDAR sensor and generates a dense and accurate three-dimensional point cloud of the floor surface, where point cloud data is then processed using robot operating system (ROS) to generate a high-resolution three-dimensional (3D) model of the floor surface. USE - LiDAR based system for floor measurement in building construction. ADVANTAGE - The mobile robot platform allows for flexible and efficient data collection, while reducing the need for manual labor and minimizing disruptions to ongoing construction activities. The system uses LiDAR with ROS for floor measurement, and improves efficiency and accuracy of floor measurement, thus contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of building construction projects.
