| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The method involves showing different cases of a customer waiting to obtain probability generating function (PGF) of waiting time, and normal busy period and busy cycle analysis. Various performance measures and numerical results are discussed. An application is used to network scheduling in a wavelength division-multiplexed (WDM) system illustrates benefit of the matrix in real problems. A stochastic decomposition theory of a standard M/G/1 queue with general vacations is applied to derive an equivalent expression for the PGF to understand stationary queue length. USE - Method for analyzing discrete-time nb-geo-1 queue with single working vacation and correlated times in a digital communication system. ADVANTAGE - The method enables providing a new discrete-time batch arrival queue with working vacation approach for the steady-state analysis of NB/Geo/1 queuing model, and uses the server to work in a lower rate during the vacation period which becomes a lower speed operation period. |
